Jake and his quartet were the perfect accompaniment for my wifes birthday party! punctual, looked sharp, played beautifully and even humored us in playing happy birthday and taking a couple requests! I was very impressed!

Dester Farms was a great addition to our party! Jake was both professional and accommodating to our schedule, time, and budget. We had the duo play for our late-night party and it created a fun and relaxed atmosphere for all of the guests. We got multiple compliments on the talent of the duo and hope to have them again in the future.

Jake Dester of Dester Farms was highly professional, both in appearance and in behavior. He and the rest of the band arrived early, which really helped my stress level. We had asked a week before if they could play a special composition my husband wrote, and they were more than accommodating. They are also all talented musicians; partly because of them, our wedding party was an event we'll remember fondly for the rest of our lives.

I have a Cajun inspired restaurant that seats approx 250 people and Dester Farmes always creates a fun, jazzy and warm feel to the night. I love their ability to play a lot of different decades of jazz, from standards to cover songs of some well known songs which you wouldn’t expect from a saxophonist. Another of their Uniqueness is that they can evolve to any situation, they can keep adding great musicians and instruments until you have a full-on orchestras to a Jazz duo which is how we usually have them.
