Black Olive Jazz was a great choice for our New Year's Eve party at Wine Affairs wine bar in San Jose. We have limited space, so they were very accommodating, making sure the volume level was appropriate. The jazz selections were as promised, Ellington, Gershwin, Waller, and the vocals by Kay Andreas were out of this world. This is a jazz lovers dream band. Kay of Black Olive Jazz referred me to a piano player she plays with, Si Perkoff who in turn brought a bass player and a drummer. I wanted older style up beat Jazz and they were perfect. The guests really enjoyed the music. It was mostly mood music til later when several people started to dance and the band caught on and played appropriate music for the dancing. We all really enjoyed them!!

I am so happy that I hired the Black Olive Jazz band for my party! Kay was so much fun to work with and was able to make the accommodations I needed for the location I had! They were perfect. The musicians played beautifully, Kay sang beautifully, the music was perfect for the situation, and they accomodated our small space and last minute changes to their hours with no problem. Fantastic performers and great to work with. I highly recommend them!
