The Boxcar Boys are a five-piece band made up of some of Toronto's most exciting young professional musicians. The band features Juno-nominated Rob Teehan on sousaphone, clarinetist and tunesmith John David Williams, jazz master Karl Silveira on trombone, folky fiddler Laura Bates and soulful Ronen Segall on accordion. Their unique mix of New Orleans jazz, klezmer beats and folk grooves is sure to get heads bopping and feet dancing.

Their novel old-time street band instrumentation lends itself naturally to all manner of performances; festival stages, parades, street parties, back yards, restaurants, markets and more! Previous performances include The Ward's Island festival, The World of Neighbours 100th Anniversary Festival, The Beaches Jazz Festival, The Toronto Waterfront Marathon, and many happy weddings, birthdays, restaurant openings, and other celebrations.
