Description
Pentimento Jazz is primarily a piano, bass and drum trio with vocals. We are happy to add horns when the job calls for it. We are a collective which includes many of the SF Bay Area's best and most experienced musicians--which means we can book more than one event on a day/evening. Our music ranges from Ellington to Bill Evans/Miles Davis. Pentimento musicians have played with Nancy
Wilson, Mel Torme, Diana Ross, Claudia Valella and many others. We've had long standing engagements with some of the Bay Area's best restaurants, wineries, including the Mountain Winery. We are also in demand for weddings and corporate events.

- Mike Bastian's Pentimento Jazz played at our wedding mid October and my wife and I were both completely amazed by their performance. Their choice of music during our reception was perfect. Our Guests loved the music and we received so many compliments about the band.
In addition, Mike was very professional and easy to work with.He quickly responded to any concerns or requests we had. He was also able to accommodate our ceremony, which was outdoors,then move indoors for our reception with almost no interruption.
