Description
Music is a universal language. It takes a little Bit of this and a Piece of that. This is the key that brings people together. This is the group's philosophy. The group began June 15th, 1993. Bob Cummerlander is the founder of this group. We have Ed Alexander on drums, Theron Johnson and myself on keys. I play guitar to. Our horn section consist of Bryan Wood, Herb Dotson and Al Stull. The Bass player is Walt Coleman. Our musicians collectively have over 100 plus years of experience. It variety that we try to offer and event. We play jazz standards, smooth jazz, R&B, pop etc. Bits and Pieces has appeared on television a couple of times for a sports show in Columbus, Ohio, performed for corporations, weddings. Our proudest moments is performing for a live wedding ceremony, not the after party, the ceremony. You only have one chance to get it right. The oppornity to meet people and bring joy thru music is priceless. We are "Bits and Pieces."

Feedback
- The guys did a great job, the music was perfect for our event, they were on time, had everything they needed, and were just really nice guys. I did not have a single problem or worry with them, everythng went very smoothly. -- Kelly Palermo, Pittsburgh, PA, 12/13/2010
- Bits & Pieces is an amazing group of talented men. The music is fantastic and we can't wait to have them back again next year! -- Stacy Black, Lebanon, OH, 7/7/2011
- Bits and Pieces was absolutely the best decision we could have made regarding our wedding music. They were professional, accommodating, flexible, talented, and experienced. The music was so great I couldn't contain my joy! Their rendition of Otis Redding's "That's How Strong My Love Is" sounded even better than I imagined. Normally, this song makes me teary, but their version made me bawl. It was our first dance and I am SO glad they made this song their own. They really know how to throw a party and work with the crowd. The dance floor was packed. The inflatable saxophone was really fun too! I would definitely recommend this band. Thanks so much guys! -- Therese Dury, Columbus, OH, 8/15/2011
- Bob and the crew were selected to help make a bride's special day. The group was professional, talented and was flexible in their delivery and approach. Anyone who selects this group will have much the same experience I can tell. I was very impressed and would recommend them to anyone.
