The Swinging Foxes draw inspiration from the romantic Hollywood musicals of the 1930's and 1940's, the Swing era of jazz and the soulful dance music of early 1950's rhythm and blues to early Rock & Roll. We capture the nostalgic essence of vocal driven music creating a deliberate focus on the bands vocalist Amber Rae. Taking you on a musical journey by blending the sounds of the swingers like Anita O'Day, the soul soothers like Billie Holiday, and the rockers like Ruth Brown. "We're a bit like musical archeologists, digging through recordings of years past and rediscovering beautiful songs", says Rae. Veteran guitarist Andy Buraz then arranges the finds to fit the unique sound of the group.

The Foxes have performed numerous times at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. The band has participated in The Berks Jazz Festival for the last four years and has been featured in a variety of other music and arts festivals in the greater Philadelphia area. We also specialize in private events including Fundraisers, Holiday Parties and Anniversary Parties.

• Absolutely THE BEST Jazz band in the Tri-State area, if not the world. All of our guests raved about them.
