Michael Funge The Irish Singer Singer from Sanford, FL

Michael Funge was born in County Wexford, in the South East of Ireland. He has been the opening act for many great Irish artists including, Christy Moore, Johnny McEvoy, The Wolf Tones, Daniel O’Donnell, Colum Wilkinson of Les Miserables, and the late Frank Patterson, to name a few. Michael has also performed many times on RTE (Irish radio and TV) and on BBC and ITV. He has performed in the Royal Albert Hall as well as the prestigious Carnegie Hall. “Whether at a ‘houley’ in ‘the cousin’s kitchen’ or in Carnegie Hall, New York. where he has just recently appeared…Funge’s style of Irish Folk music has been applauded by young and old ” (Brisbane times.)
