We are determined to put the "hip" back into hypnosis!
We are Mr. and Mrs. Hypnotist.
Beth Bovaird is a certified hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotists and is your guide to the hypnotic state. Her third rate, hack comedian husband helps to keep things crackin'. We have a background in show business that includes writing, directing, acting, radio hosting and stand up comedy.
Our sincerity, humour and husband/wife vibe seem to put an audience at ease very quickly. We are thrilled to have performed at such a wide spectrum of venues. Corporate, outdoor alternative music festivals, high schools, underground radio, downtown night clubs and Las Vegas. We had the honour of being asked to perform at the National Guild of Hypnotists convention in August 2010 in Boston. A sold out audience of 400 clinical hypnotists and psychology practitioners loved our style. They told us!
We give a pre-talk that dispels all the clichés, fears and misconceptions about hypnosis. Previously reluctant audience members are often inspired to come up on stage! We do not embarrass our committee. We guide them and invite them to participate in various scenarios using "suggestion". They can always choose to not participate, but it is so enjoyable that this is rare. Our goal is to entertain and make our volunteer committee the stars of the show!
We studied and toured with the Dean of stage hypnotists, our mentor Jerry Valley and mix classical training with our far out style,
