- What is Twitter?
Twitter is a service that more and more companies are using as a way to give brief, frequent updates to customers and others who are interested.
It's pretty simple - once per day we write a one or two sentence update - something that we feel is noteworthy - for example a milestone that we have reached as a company, an unusual or noteworthy performer who has registered, or even to announce an employee promotion.

- Why do you use Twitter for daily updates?
There are two reasons why we make daily updates through Twitter rather than on our own site:
1) For search engine optimization reasons, having an active Twitter presence will help drive more traffic back to GigMasters.
2) Twitter has a whole mechanism already built to allow us to make the daily updates quickly and easily and for customers to 'follow' those updates in a number of different ways (from the web, from mobile devices, etc)
