Will all the members whom I contacted reply back to me regarding my event?

You can expect to receive replies from most if not all of the members you've contacted. Occasionally a member might forget, however. If so GigMasters will email them a follow up reminder if they don't reply to you within 5 days.

Will all the members whom I contacted provide a price quote for my event?

Some members may not be available for your event. We highly recommend contacting multiple members in order to increase the chances of finding the perfect entertainer or vendor for your event!

Why am I receiving some quotes from members who I do not remember contacting?

When you submitted your event request form, you asked GigMasters to contact additional members that best match your criteria. The more members that are contacted regarding your event the more likely it is that we can find an entertainer or vendor for you.

All the members declined for one reason or another. What do I do now?

GigMasters can add additional entertainers or vendors to your request any time you wish. Please contact the Customer Experience Team at info@gigmasters.com if you wish to have more members added to your request.

How Bids Work

When I get bids back from the members, does the lowest bid automatically win?

Absolutely not! You are not committed to choosing any of the members who bid on your event. In fact, you might end up hiring an entertainer or vendor who has a high bid - because he or she is more talented than the other ones. The bids you receive are not binding - they are just a way for you to get a very good idea of how much each member would charge you to perform at your event. Once you and a particular member have established contact, it is completely up to you to work out the payment details.

Are the bids binding?

Bids are not binding. You are free to negotiate with all of our members who have submitted bids on your event. Our members can change their bid amounts as circumstances and variables warrant.

Am I under any obligation to use the members I've contacted through GigMasters?

You are under no obligation to hire any entertainer or vendor whom you contact through GigMasters.

Replying to Bids

I've received a bid from a member. How do I reply back to the member?

Do not reply to the email you receive from GigMasters. In the email you receive, we provide you with the member's email address and telephone number, so you'll need to either email or call the member on the phone.

I’ve received several quotes. Do I need to reply to each member individually about whether or not I’m interested?

No – we can handle that for you. Simply reply to the event status emails that we send to you regarding your event.
