event cancellations

  • What if the client cancels on me within 14 days of the event?
    GigMasters will refund the booking fee to the client. The client cannot post feedback.
  • What if it is a last minute booking, but then I have to cancel?

    For bookings which take place within 14 days of the event date, there are two scenarios:

    1) If you cancel within 24 hours of the time you are booked, we'll refund the booking fee, and the client cannot post feedback.

    2) If you cancel after 24 hours of the time you are booked, we'll refund the booking fee, and the client may post feedback. We also reserve the right to issue you a "no show" penalty.

    In either case, we'll try and help the client find a replacement performer.

  • What if I don't show up for an event?
    The first time you no-show, you receive a written warning (and possible suspension) and the client will be allowed to post feedback on your GigMasters Profile. On your second no-show, we reserve the right to terminate your membership.
  • What happens if I have to cancel on a client more than 14 days prior to the event?
    GigMasters will refund the booking fee to the client and you will not assessed a penalty. The client cannot post feedback.
  • What happens if I have to cancel on a client within 14 days of the event?
    GigMasters will refund the booking fee to the client and we reserve the right to issue you a "no show" penalty. Your client may post feedback.
  • What if the client cancels on me more than 14 days prior to the event?
    GigMasters will refund the booking fee to the client. The client cannot post feedback.
