1. How long will it take for me to receive an email from each performer I've selected to contact?

Most of our performers will reply to you within 24 hours, and some may reply to you in just a few hours! You'll receive their bids by emails sent from booking@gigmasters.com. In the rare case you do not hear from a performer within 48 hours, you can always contact more performers or ask GigMasters Customer Support for assistance and we can contact additional performers for you.

2. Will all the performers whom I contacted reply back to me regarding my event?

You can expect to receive replies from most if not all of the performers you've contacted. Occasionally a performer might forget, however, GigMasters will email them a follow up reminder if they don't reply to you within 10 days.

3. Will all the performers place bids on my event?

No, some performers will be already booked, and some might not feel that your budget is suitable for them. This is why we highly recommend that you contact as many of our performers as you can. This will increase the chances of finding the perfect entertainment for your event!

4. I've received a bid from a performer. How do I reply back to the performer?

Do not reply to the email you receive from GigMasters. In the email you receive, we provide you with the performer's email address and telephone number, so you'll need to either email or call the performer on the phone.

5. I've received several bids. Do I need to reply to each performer individually about whether I'm interested or not?

No. We will send you follow up emails which will ask you how things are going. You can let GigMasters know the status of your event, either by emailing us or by logging into your GigMasters Control Panel and going to the 'Your Events' section.

7. All the performers declined for one reason or another. What do I do now?

We automatically email you a follow-up in 5 days, and we ask you how things are going. Click the link under the 'Add Additional Performers To Your Request' section and we will request bids from performers similar to the ones you originally selected.

8. When I get bids back from the performers, does the lowest bid automatically win?

Absolutely not! You are not committed to choosing any of the performers who bid on your event. In fact, you might end up hiring an entertainer who has a high bid - because he or she is more talented than the other ones. The bids you receive are not binding - they are just a way for you to get a very good idea of how much each entertainer would charge you to perform at your event. Once you and a particular entertainer have established contact, it is completely up to you to work out the payment details.

9. Are the bids binding?

Bids are not binding. You are free to negotiate with all of our performers who have submitted bids on your event. Our performers can change their bid amounts as circumstances and variables warrant.
