1. How does GigMasters determine the order of search results?

We factor in how close you are to the event, if you're the type of performer/entertainment the client is looking to hire, and what your GigMasters rating is. We then use an algorithm which compares you to other performers, and this determines the order of search results.

2. Can I see how my GigMasters rating contributes to the order of the search results?

Yes. The Search Results Analyzer feature, accessible through your control panel, shows your placement in search results based on your Primary Category, Location, and GigMasters rating. You will also see a breakdown of the points you, and performers like you, have earned and how they are calculated toward your overall rating. These results are calculated on a nightly basis.

7. Why aren't my bids showing in Quick Quote?

  • Your bids start showing in QuickQuote seven days after they are submitted.
  • Bids that are quoted on a 'per performer' basis will not show up.
  • Bids that list a range of performers (e.g $500 for 2-3 performers) will not show up.
  • Bids that don't specify a number of performers will not show up
