I have been honored to be making a living as a professional musician in Asheville, North Carolina for over 15 years. With the classical harp, informal Celtic harp or the exotic hammered dulcimer, I can create a relaxed, elegant atmosphere for your special event in the western North Carolina area. I offer classical, Celtic music and standards as a solo harpist or with duos and trios including harp/violin, harp/cello, or harp/flute. Looking for something more unusual? The beautiful HAMMERED DULCIMER is a trapezoid shaped, multi-stringed instrument with an exotic sound. Mine is built here in Asheville, North Carolina by one of the finest instrument builders in the country. I often combine my dulcimer with an expert classical guitarist for a fascinating and unusual duo sound. Worried about the harp being loud enough for an outdoor venue? We have our own battery powered amps to be sure that is never a problem! I started out as a singer so I can also provide a few popular vocals for weddings if requested. There are a few samples on this page. I play for many CORPORATE EVENTS either as a soloist or with a partner such as hammered dulcimer with classical guitar or harp and cello. My goals is always to complement the event, allow guests to converse while hearing familiar music as well as the classic sounds of my instruments. I love to look around at the guests and try to guess songs they will recognize which might include standards or modern pieces they would not expect to hear on a harp or dulcimer. I performs regularly for Grove Park Inn Resort and the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. My recordings are Amazon,iTunes and other download sites. I can provide elegant background music where the guests can still hear each other for a conversation, lovely wedding prelude and processional music, or more lively Celtic music with hammered dulcimer or a small ensemble.
