About

Harpist - Adele Stinson a resident of San Jose, California has studied the harp since the age of 13. Since 1998, She has performed professionally in weddings, receptions, parties, retirement communities, memorial services, schools, churches and conventions throughout the San Francisco bay area. She frequently performs popular, musical/movie themes, decades, classical, nature tunes, holiday, multi-cultural, Celtic, Disney, opera and meditational music.

Adele stays current in her field by attending conventions around the world such as The World Harp Congress (in Dublin, Amsterdam, and Vancouver), the American Harp Society (San Francisco and Philadelphia), the Lyon and Healy Pop Harp Festival Santa Barbara), and the Somerset Harp Festival (San Jose).

Adele's harp is unique, modern and innovative: an azure blue acoustic-electric pedal harp made in France by Camac. It's a double-faceted instrument--traditional acoustic harp and amplified electric harp with special effects on Adele's sound system.

"As a teenager, I came across a newspaper article, "Harpist on Horseback" about a girl who loved horses and harp. As soon as I saw the illustration, I knew I just had to play the harp. Over the years, I was lucky enough to work with world-famous harpists Phyllis Schlomovitz and Paul Hurst who both inspired me to play my favorite music--popular, movie themes, musicals, and nature pieces."
