Harpessence

Please meet Harpessence out of Longmont, CO. While my harp music can add a very elegant ambiance to events, it can also be light and uplifting. An extensive repertoire of modern, Classical, Celtic and early music styles can be easily tailored to meet your musical needs. In 15 years of performing, I have won awards for my interpretations of Celtic as well as Medieval/Renaissance music. My performance venues have ranged from small private dinners to conventions. I also organized and performed in a "Harping for Haiti" fundraiser held in Richmond, Va.

As my client, you can expect to receive an in depth consultation for your event in order to assure that the music will be what you envision for your special occasion. Frequently, based on just a phone consultation, I can have a playlist available before actually meeting you. In person consultations are available as needed for weddings and other major events.

I play a Dusty Strings 36 string professional harp (with amplification available) as well as a Renaissance reproduction harp. These quality instruments, and over 15 years of experience, allow me to perform a wide variety of musical styles including: Celtic, Classical, Medieval/Renaissance, New Age, Popular, Broadway and a bit of Jazz.

I have recently been published in the journal for the International Society of Folk Harpers and Craftsmen for a harp technique that I created.

Presently, I am also an intern in the Music for Healing and Transition Program studying styles of music for a healing environment.
