Consider the graceful and elegant tones of the celtic harp. Be it background music or the bridal procession for your wedding, the harp is sure to be the perfect addition you are looking for.
Deidre began playing the celtic harp when she was 15 after playing the piano since age 5. She played throughout Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin for plays, festivals, and special events.
Deidre studied pedal harp at the University of Southern California's Thorton School of Music under JoAnn Turovsky. After graduating, she returned to the celtic harp and has played weddings and events all over the greater Los Angeles area.
In 2008, Deidre joined Kerry Records for their Irish Christmas tour of California and again in 2009 for their St. Patrick's Day Hooley.
In addition, Deidre has been featured in both Hallmark and Chevy commercials with her harp and on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She has performed with Mary J. Blige, Barbara Streisand, David Munnelly, Kieran Munnelly, and Kathleen Keane.
For Wedding Events: The angelic sound of the harp adds the perfect touch of elegance to your most special day. Wedding ceremonies include 30 minutes of pre ceremony music, the bridal party processional, the bridal processional, any music during the ceremony (optional), and the recessional music. Wedding ceremonies have a flat rate of $300, but depending on exactly what is needed, prices are negotiable. Wedding cocktail/dinner hours are also the perfect time to add a harp to the mix. For background music at the cocktail/dinner hour(s), the charge is $100/hr. For non wedding events, the charge is also $100/hr.
The harp is beautifully paired with a number of instruments. Please inquire if you would like to add flute, guitar, violin, or accordion to any event!

"Deidre is just wonderful! She was able to accommodate our very last minute request to play at a Celebration of Life in honor of my father-in-law. Having live harp music play in the background really made the event extra special and so many of the guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music. Her choice of songs was perfect.
