The 5-Star Rated 33rd Street Band specializes in the timeless horn-rock classics from the 60s & 70s. Featuring LIVE horns, the smokin' hot 33rd Street Band will make your event unforgettable!
Formed in 2003, we are an experienced and diverse group of seasoned musicians who share a love of the timeless music of the great horn-rock bands such as Chicago, Van Morrison, Santana, James Brown, Earth Wind & Fire, The Blues Brothers, and many more. Each member brings his unique background to the music to make a unified wall of sound, creating fantastic big horn rock and roll excitement!
Our varied sets feature classic rock, blues, soul, funk, light jazz, and old r&b, to keep your party on the dance floor. Our professionalism and courteous customer service are our hallmark. (Aside from AMAZING, talented musicians, of course!)

First off, I'm a life-time musician and have played lots of gigs like this so this was by far the biggest decision of the wedding for me, cause I knew if people weren't dancing it would be a bust :) ... 33rd St. is unbelievable and did not disappoint in the least. Dance floor was packed all night and the energy was unbelievable. They even played some improv dinner/jazz type music early on totally off the cuff that people really enjoyed. The coordination leading up to an event was extremely professional and those guys had our minds totally at ease. All I can say is if you're anywhere in their traveling radius, don't make the mistake of going with someone else :)

33rd Street Band professionalism, accommodation, and talent was above and beyond our expectations. They were great to work with and really went the extra mile to make sure that everyone was not only satisfied but happy, all while having a great time. I would recommend this band to anyone and will certainly keep them in mind for future gigs. I do not have a single negative thing I can think of if I HAD to~ Thanks!!!

Only complaint - Half dozen or so 'older' guests complained about hip problems from too much dancing. No kidding.
These guys are awesome. Very talented and professional musicians. Best wedding band in west Michigan. Heck, I'll personally guarantee it. Fantastic song selection. They KILLED our special request first dance song. We partied so, so hard. What a blast!
When the dance floor was packed, they knew to keep jamming. I think I was in the middle of a 10 minute dance circle at one point. I couldn't stop. Like the music was controlling my feet. Had me a bit worried til I realized I became king of dance. Was it a dream? Nope.
