James Bernabe Duos/Trios

This is the small ensemble press kit for ***THE DELUGE*** Rated in the top 5 in the nation under the Bluegrass/Acoustic/Americana Live Band category by Gigmasters and features former members of Blue Bambooza "2002 New Nashville Music Conference Featured Artist" and Old Stone Review "named Best Group 2008 by the Winston-Salem Journal". Formed in late 2008, this group of veteran Triad-NC musicians and friends set out to put together an all acoustic band, with a heavy Americana mix of tempos and rythyms as well as profound and emotional lyrics of everyday experiences of yesterday and todays everyday American. With a blend of old time mountain music, jazz, country, bluegrass, gysy, and soul, this group captures the essences of acoustic music. All members of this group are experienced and recognizable area musicians all too familiar with the roads and highways that connect the many live music venues of the southeast and have put what they have learned about music and life and combined it into a new experience for both the listener and performer. Features Brandon Knox on Harmonica and vocals, Chris Lord on guitar and vocals, John Holder on bass and vocals, Shane Lee on guitar and vocals, and James Bernabe on Mandolin and vocals. We play many styles and can accomodate all volume levels whether its for 1000 people at a convention or 15 people in your living room. The musicians in this group have played,toured,and-or shared the stage with some of the best in the music business including Doc Watson, Little Feat, Sam Bush, Larry Keel, Donna The Buffalo, Ralph Stanley, Bela Fleck, Tony Rice, and many more. • We were delighted with the James Bernabe group. They were there early to set-up. The music wasn't too loud so we could still talk. People came back into the Barn just to listen to them play... it was kind of an inside and outside screen porch set-up...they were very professional and we have nothing but positive compliments. • The rehearsal party was a great success because of James' music! We were limited in space so I requested the duo. I wanted music from the mountain region but "subdued" so that people could talk but still be entertained. They played the time alloted plus some. We were in touch thru e-mail and all went well.
