Description
Páprika is an all-female group that performs dance music from around the globe. From a central core of Brazilian and Caribbean repertoire, through intoxicating forays into music of the Mediterranean, Near and Far East and Africa to rocking originals Paprika creates a shimmering web of language, melody and rhythm that is continually unexpected and irresistibly danceable. We are available to perform as a full six or seven piece band (vocals, saxophone, trumpet, guitar, bass, percussion and drums) or as an ensemble performing Batucada (marching Brazilian samba drum corps) in full carnival style costume, perfect for parades. We can also tailor repertoire specifically to your theme party or holiday event.

Feedback
- On the scale of 1 to 5, Paprika was a 10.
The band's talent, professionalism, flexibililty, flair, and sense of fun made our party memorable for everyone.
Also, the Gigmasters site was a great find. Thanks. -- Sarah R, Stamford, CT, 9/15/2007
- My party was called "World Spice" so their act fit right in. A friendly group of talented musicians. They interacted well with the crowd, had everyone dancing and smiling. Their costumes and stage presence made for an enjoyable show. Their unique mix of music represented many types of world music, Brazilian, Carribean, African and more. -- Peter C, Bridgewater, NJ, 6/23/2007
- Paprika not only got every one up and dancing they entertained. The music was great. Not your traditional cover band. Their international music mix was a hit with attendees actually applauding. They truely enjoy performing and we could not have asked for a more enjoyable band. -- Ric B, Brigantine, NJ, 5/20/2006
