Our artists have years of high volume experience with training by industry professionals at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and The Florida Aquarium. With daily training and practice they have exceeded their original skill level and work at a faster pace than most self-trained artists in the area, allowing them to manage large crowds with ease. Our face painters follow a strict code of practice concerning quality work, sanitation, and customer service. They use only non-toxic, hypoallergenic, cosmetic grade products that conform to the FDA standards for use on all skin types. At Fire Shark, the use of acrylics or other non-approved products is not permitted. We can provide a wide selection of designs for different themed birthdays and events including super heroes, favorite animals, and swirls and pops of color! When an artist is selected for an event to provide henna tattoos, the henna is handmade days before. We select only the freshest crop of henna powder for mixing to ensure the richest and darkest stain. It is mixed with all natural ingredients such as lemon juice and lavender oil. We do not add harsh chemicals, such as ParaPhenylenediamine , that other "artists" have been known to use to create a darker and unhealthy stain. With proper care, henna tattoos can last from a few days to two weeks. With five years of practice, our henna artists can produce a variety of designs from traditional flowers and paisleys, to favorite cartoon characters, to beautiful swirling script and bold tribal paint. If a long lasting henna tattoo isn't exactly what you're looking for or you have a younger set of guests expected, the Fire Sharks are now offering glitter tattoos. Glitter tattoos come in a wide variety of colors and stencil shapes, so there is something that everyone will like. The tattoos last about a week, even through swimming and bathing and can be removed with mild soap, water, and a little scrubbing. Ask an associate about adding on glitter tattoos to your booking!
