I am a professional acoustic musician, singer/guitarist and DJ. I have performed as the opening act for such notables as Judy Collins, Dave Mason, The Pure Prairie League, and Lue Rawls. For my acoustic show I perform songs from the swing era to present day including such artists as Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, James Taylor, Jon Denver, Jimmy Buffett, and contemporary songs from groups like Monsters and Men and Avicii. I perform with a variety of tools that allow me to sound like a solo acoustic performer or a full band. 1995 I added DJing to my list of services. I found that there were certain events like weddings, where my clients liked the idea of having live music and a DJ as well. In the past I have performed for hundreds of private parties, vineyards, fundraising events, and weddings. Because I also DJ I can perform my acoustic review for dinner/cocktail hour type of performance and then transition into more celebration and dance music. Wedding clients like this because it's much easier to hire one dependable person who can to find the address of the location, arrive on time, and provide great music for the entire event. It also makes one check easier to write. Below you will find a letter of reference from a wedding I performed in August 2014.
