Born in Brooklyn, New York, Dj Barry Blends began spinning at the age of ten years old. After purchasing his first Dj set for his 18th birthday, he began practicing his craft until it was mastered. Blends would later become one of the hottest party Djs around playing for venues such as Justin's, 40/40 Club, Blvd, Plumm, Suzie Wong, SOB's, Opal, and Crash Mansion. He's considered as one of the top corporate Djs of New York playing for high profile corporations such as Microsoft, Blackberry, Johnson & Johnson, CW Network, Black Bar Association, The Marriot Hotel, and Museum of Natural History. Celebrity Dj is another title that Blends holds playing for huge industry functions involving Diddy, NY Jets, Vivica Fox, Anthony Anderson, Keith Murray, Queenpen, Hot 97 FM, Power 105 FM, 103 Jamz, Don Diva Magazine, World bride Magazine, Multiplex Movie Theater, and Kaufman furs (all separate events). Being no stranger to the stage, he has performed concerts at Nokia Theater, Joe's Pub, Grants Tomb, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and the Apollo summer stage to name a few. In 2004, 107.5 WBLS employed him as the mobile Dj for the radio station. Recently, Barry has appeared on Fox channel 5's Good Day New York as their featured Disc Jockey. He also has one of the most entertaining internet radio shows in the world which airs every Wednesday at 4PM EST on WCR.
