ELVIS By Dano & a Li'l Johnny Cash is one of Seattle Tacoma's most fun, entertaining, and high energy Elvis Impersonators/ Tribute Artists. He is also, very possibly, the most interactive, and now performs a Johnny Cash set that provides a moving tribute to the legendary country star as well. Dano's nice voice and natural Elvis moves, along with the way he often sings face to face with the members of his audience, provide a show that reflects the energy, passion, and humor that The King once shared with us. Dano, being a true Elvis Presley fan himself since the age of ten, has
loved singing along with The Great One most of his life. His first true impersonation of Elvis was back in 1995 at a church function, and in 2000 sang his first full set of tunes to a very excited audience at the same hall. He was also once a singer and guitarist for a kickin'
classic rock band and often performed tribute sets to Elvis. The crowd
always lit up when Dano took the stage during those shows. After a seven year stay, he left the band in early 2004 and went solo to become one of the "most rockin" Elvis's around the Seattle Tacoma area and beyond, as well as a great ballad singer. In the past year, upon the urging of friends and fans , Dano has begun to sing some of the songs made famous by another of his childhood favorites, Johnny Cash. People told him his vocal tone was
in the ideal range for this country music legend as well. He can pay tribute to the King of the 1950s in the flashy gold lam'e jacket, the GI Blues Army Elvis, the sixties star in a replica of the 1968 tv comeback special all leather outfit, or the refined white jumpsuit icon of the 1970s.
For Johnny Cash he performs in all black (of-course) along with his old flat top country guitar. If you want your next event

- He was great. It was a 65th Birthday for my Mom. We allowed children there until 10 pm. From very young to our Elders they all enjoyed him. They could have been entertained by him all night. He's very personable and likes to work the audience. He's not a stage person, he likes to work the audience (which everyone found so much more entertaining)

- If you have gold stars to hand out for a show, give Elvis by Dano & a touch of Johnny Cash the whole box!!!!! He blew us away, and was very personable, and has great ad-lib between the songs. This was a great show, and my Mom loved the Johnny Cash songs, and Dano did make a great Johnny Cash. When he was nearly done, he transformed into Elvis and finished up with Elvis songs. What a neat idea and a great show. For Johnny Cash or Elvis, you can't go wrong with this guy. I was very pleased and so were the other folks at this event. - Elvis by Dano was more than we could've expected when we first started looking for an "Elvis" for our Las Vegas-themed party. We were pleasantly surprised by his follow-up...he was the only one of three performers who called us after we submitted a bid, and he was so friendly and easy-going that he immediately made a good impression. It was an easy decision to choose him as our performer. We were all thrilled with his performance at our party. We had 400 people and our space is almost 5000 square feet, yet he worked the room and made everyone feel included. His voice is beautiful and his song selection was terrific. - I hired Elvis by Dano for a surprise 50th bday party for my little sister. Not only was the party on Thanksgiving weekend, it hit during 'flu' season which caused a large number of last minute cancellations. I was extremely concerned about the group of people who did show up,they just seemed 'blah'. The minute 'Elvis' started, the party totally 'rocked' & was a complete success. - What an Outstanding performer. We hired Elvis (Dano) for my husband's 70 birthday party. Family, staff at Sully's Cafe and friends are still talking about the fantastic party. Energetic, entertaining and the love of Elvis filled the room. We had a group ranging in age of 7 years - 70. Dano took the time to make sure that each person was involved in the performance. He had us dancing, clapping and singing. He sang special songs to the girls. He really did an outstanding job. Our granddaughters are still talking about the night Elvis had dinner with the family. From the booking, contacting and arranging the "big day", he was professional and accommodating. He was an 'AWESOME' performer. It is difficult to hire a performer, but we really got our money when he hired Dano. If you want an Elvis impersonator, hire DANO, you will not regret your choice. - What a party! We hired Elvis (aka Dano) for our annual Halloween party at Sunrise Assisted Living of Bellevue. He was AMAZING! From the intial booking to the actual performance, he was top notch all the way. He arrived early, took percautions for the seniors, set up, performed and cleaned up in a timely process. He had all the seniors up dancing and singing and really engaged each person. He was a bit loud for some of the older folks but his sound is great and everyone had a great time!!
I feel bad because I get all the credit for the great party but it was because of Dano that the day was so perfect!

You're never really sure what's going to happen when you hire an entertainer sight unseen, but Dano surpassed all of our expectations. Since this was a surprize party for her, we needed to do lots of behind the scenes planning with Dano. He worked with us on every phase. My son Ben, who is senior music student at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, did all the sound setup ahead of time. Dano went right with it and did all the final sound checks without any of the professional pettiness that can often grow out of such a situation.
