• When we arrived, the DJ had set up, but was not maning the turn tables for about 30 minutes. Although it was a cocktail party with family, he began playing boring elevator music. We had to keep reminding DJ Trevor to increase the tempo of the music as the night progressed since we had an open bar. It all worked out all right. I just wished the DJ would have been able to feel the vibe on his own. I will be using someone else for the wedding, but these guys were cheap enough for this party. • We had both a live and silent auction at our fundraiser. The auction coordinator has commented that the bidding on the silent auction items was increased due to Carlos' calling attention to the bid items and using his wireless mike to go thru the auction periodically to announce how the bidding was going on certain items. They took an interest in the nature of the party (a Sweet 16 in this case) and provided template forms so that our kids could list preferred songs, music they didn't want played and the various genres of music they enjoy.
