i marked 5 for professionalism, and 5 for recommeding them, the other 5 are to the this goings. i i would inlist there service in up coming events. however do to snow the event did not have have DJ but they tryed to make it the snow was too bad.

The gentlemen from New York Sound came with great spirits, and did everything to keep the music going and people dancing. They played great songs for the event. The made the party a huge success.

They arrived on time and were very polite. They were not as experienced in the wedding setting as I had expected, and some of our individual requests were messed up. Also, despite me asking several times, we never did get them to announce the cake-cutting. All in all tho they got the job done and the price was certainly right.

Thanks for your feedback. We are taking that DJ off the floor and retraining him.

Terrible dj. Had no transitions between songs. Had zero control over volume. At the conclusion if everyone song, they would quickly transition into a new song where the volume level is fully blasted. Thereby causing everyone to cover their ears because of the sound. They had no idea of what songs to play despite this being a normal wedding gig. PLEASE STAY AWAT AND DO NOT HIRE!!!!!

Thanks for customer's note. Sorry it didn't work out. We have never worked with a more disorganized group. Customer didn't hire us until a week before event, never provided a play list, and asked us to mix the only song we were supposed to provide a day or two before, only to then change their mind again. When we arrived, their MC did not have a working microphone so we had to switch our equipment around. Our biggest lesson learned here is to always have a play list before the event. It was impossible to segue from song to song when we were given contradictory directions from all different directions. Again, we are very sorry this event did work out. We

They did a great job for my wedding!!!!! At first the songs were not fitting to the crowd but once they found out what we liked they were great and had a fun time with us which is what we wanted for our event! They were great to work with; i would recommend them!!

The New York Sound Co did an excellent job for my daughters Birthday/Halloween party! I had gone over their list of songs and let them know which ones we would like and told them what artists and songs the kids liked and they played something for everybody to enjoy. The kids spent a lot of time on the floor dancing and enjoying the music. You get the music you want, and you can't beat their prices! I would highly reccommend!!!

They were great! Very reasonable and worth every penny. They worked with me on a playlist and had everything loaded and ready to go for the party. They took requests from the crowd and kept them dancing. They were very friendly and seem to really enjoy themselves. I would recommend them to anyone. The light show they had was a definite bonus. Thanks for making my party a huge success!

New York Sound did an awesome job. They were very responsive leading up to the event, they put together our song list with ease, showed up early to set up, had great sound and mixes, and were so easy to work with - professional and as accomodating as they could be. We've had DJ's before, but they were the best so far. We would hire them again and will recommend them to our friends. Thanks for a great job!

Great DJ! Had everyone dancing and partying. Kept the party going. Would highly recommend them - had all the songs requested. We got this DJ as a referral from another friend so glad it worked out.
