I could not have been happier. DJ Ron was the ultimate DJ. He had everything very well planned and kept 30 plus 10-12 year old boys entertained all evening. They are still talking about it now. He was very personal, knowing all the kids by name and using their names when speaking to them. They felt that he was their friend and he played every single thing they asked him to play. I would tell anyone that wanted one to have this DJ. I was very very impressed and will most definitly use him again. Thank you so much.

The evening couldn't have gone any smoother if it wasn't for Gary, our DJ. He was great! What we (parents of the bride) loved more than anything of the whole evening was that Gary "ran the show". He never skipped a beat. He was right on time with the intro of the wedding party, the first dance, the cake cuttering and the rest of line up of the night up to throwing the rice at the end. We LOVED having Gary Resch as our DJ. Gary was very accommodating to my guest requests, & kept them dancing all afternoon. I personally enjoyed working with Gary, he was very helpful. Together we were able to come up with some fun & innovative ways to keep our guests entertained while waiting for their turn at the buffet table. Gary was nice enough to keep an eye on the weather reports(a bad storm was forecast for that evening) not only for the bride&groom departure, but also for the elderly guests so NONE of us would have to worry about a "wet exit". I will recommend Academy DJs, and esp. Gary Resch to anyone looking for a great DJ. Chad &Julimarie

Gary was great! He was on time and organized! Even though it was like a million degrees outside he still set up outdoors under the awning. Also, I wasn't real sure as to what I wanted as far as music goes and he picked some great songs! Thanks a lot Gary!!

With little instruction from us, Academy DJs was able to read the crowd and play appropriate music. After dinner, they played the perfect music to get everyone out on the dance floor and everyone had an amazing time. They were not cheesy at all and made announcements as requested. I will definitely consider them first the next time I host an event and would recommend them to friends as well.

I hope to be of service to you again next year, we truly enjoyed rocking your party

Although your guy was professional, his equipment did not really meet the mark. We ordered Karaoke, he turned up without a TV screen for us to read the words as his had 'Broken' we had to use and install one of our own, and all of the songs were about half a second behind the music so that confused everyone and most could not complete the songs properly (unless the words were already known). this was a little disappointing and frustrating. As a Dj he was much better.

Mike was fine, he showed up on time and did a decent job. I was overall pretty satisfied. I did ask him to play the cha cha slide to get the kids on the dance floor, which he did, but then he played the electric slide, which none of them knew how to do and that kind of sent them back to their tables. They did come out again, but I felt he should have known his crowd and played something they knew. Other than that he was very good.

The sound/music in the wedding was perfect. The professionalism of the DJ was incredible. They made our wedding to be perfect. All the guest had a wonderful and unique experience. we would like to recomend Academy DJ's to everybody.

We chose Academy DJs for our corporate Christmas party - the general feedback was 'best party we ever had!" The music selected was excellent, the volume didn't overwhelm dinner conversations while we were eating and the dance music was just right to get lots of people on the dance floor. The professional dancers hired through Academy DJs were wonderful and really helped break the ice and motivated many people to dance and have a good time. The DJ was completely set up before the guests began to arrive and was very organized and efficient. I highly recommend Academy DJs.

One major let down of our wedding was that the DJ did not play enough music for our guests to dance for very long. When our DJ did play "dance songs" they were rap songs that included explicit language. We had children at our reception so the faster song choices were not appropriate since the lyrics had not been edited . I gave the DJ a list of my husband and I's favorite bands/songs and they were minimally used. At one point he interjected his own personal dedication to the US troops and played a country song that focused on the USA (nice, but not we asked for). Future advice: Talk less, play more.
