DESCRIPTION:
Madison Grapevine DJs perform weekly for social dances, wedding receptions, birthday parties, and corporate functions. Weddings are our specialty as we play 15-20 receptions each year. We are committed to providing a custom, quality entertainment package that you and your guests will enjoy.A complete music list is available on request and you can listen to a sample of all the music to choose your favorite songs. If we don't have some of the songs you want yet, tell us the titles and we will add them before your event. Karaoke is available as an extra option. We have a long list of popular music that all your guests will enjoy grooving to even if they have two left feet. :) We can also play ceremony music for a wedding and dinner music for a reception. The music playlist is tailored to your own preferences. We can even teach some basic dance steps in swing, latin, ballroom, or nightclub dances for your guests if time permits at the event. Our sound equipment includes 4 JBL MPro speakers with 12' woofers and a JBL 18' Subwoofer with two QSC amplifiers and a Crown K1 amplifier for the subwoofer. All music is played from computer and CD. For larger dance floors, speakers can be placed in all 4 corners of a room so the music will surround you. Lighting effects include floor and ceiling projected lights from Chauvet, Martin, and American DJ brands and a mirror ball. Click on the Lighting Effects video link to see an example - the Macarena is optional, of course. ;) If requested, a separate 15 inch monitor can display the playlist so your guests can see the upcoming list of songs. There are two of every piece of equipment present at a dance, so if there ever were an equipment failure, be assured the dance will go on! Wireless microphones are provided for toasts and announcements. We do have one equipment scheduling limitation, however, in that we give priority booking to a dance group we play for on a regular basis. At this time, we are only able to book events scheduled to occur before May 2009. Even if your event will be after April 2009, feel free to contact us for pricing, music, or any other questions you may have. For indoor events, Madison Grapevine DJs will only perform at events where smoking will not be permitted in the room. Brent made our daughter's wedding dance very special. He had great rapport with everyone, did special requests, kept everyone dancing and involved. He went out of his way to make the evening a "night to remember". It was obvious he had spent a great deal of time planning music for the dinner hour and dance and he made sure to include all of the requests made by the bride and groom beforehand. Without a doubt, I would recommend him over any of the other DJ's that I have heard in the last year. We would certainly hire him again and not even consider anyone else.
