"Rockin Rich" was very professional, friendly,likeable and very accomidating. He also had a large range of music to play. He made himself available to play at my mother's 75 birthday party at the last minute, which made a favorable impression. My two teenage sons, loved the music and enjoyed singing a number of tunes as well! My sister also enjoyed singing a few tunes the end of the evening. He has a large range of music. I would highly recommend Rich to DJ your event. He has been in the music business over 30 years and comes with much experience, and knowledge. He certainly will complement your event!

Best DJ Service did a great job for our 50th wedding anniversary party. He had the music we selected and made all the announcements for us. Although the weather did not fully cooperate with us, Best DJ Service did! Moving all his equipment 3 times! with no problems. We would definitely use their services again.

Very professional and accommodating man. Richard wanted to be sure the music choices were what the teenagers would want and suggested I give him a list of music and/or we could provide our own cd's to play. Although I did not provide him with a list he played music they all enjoyed. The karaoke was a huge hit as well and the party was an event enjoyed by all. I wouldn't hesitate to call him for my next event.

I was looking for more current selections, but they played alot of music from the 80's.

A very nice backyard party. We played a lot of newer club music that Nick had asked us to play. We also took requests from the people and most of them requested 80's music and of course we played all the requests. Thanks for a good time and we handed out a lot of cards....Thanks again, Nick

Richard Phillips was great!! He played any request we asked for, was very personable and accommadating. We had a crowd with an age range from 83 to 4 and he was able to keep everyone entertained and engaged. I would highly recommend Richard to everyone!!!

Overall, we were exceptionally pleased with the music and service we received from Richard for our rehearsal dinner up in Windham Mountain NY. Richard was setup and there well before I arrived and he was very communicative throughout the whole process. The speakers were extremely clear and performed well in delivering quality sound to an outdoor event. We did have one little wrinkle we threw his way in the music selection (Spanish/ Latino music) and he delivered perfectly with music that matched the occasion. We recommend communicating with Richard on music selection to make sure it meets all of your criteria.

My party started at 3 pm. The Dj (rich) called me at 2:30 pm saying he has a problem his truck died. He was still in Stanford Connecticut. I live in New Jersey. He said car to move his things would be there soon so he can drive. Couldn't give me an approximate on time. I called him at 3:00 and he still didn't know when he could get there. Thankfully the staff I had was able to find a Dj for me. I will wait and see if I get my refund on my deposit.

Richard Phillips is a polite man but awful DJ. He went over everyone's names b4 introducing my wedding party & still got it wrong. He named the same name twice in a row completely embarrassing the groomsmen. He also did no preparation with me involving the layout of the activities of the wedding& kept running up to me every second & I was not able to enjoy my reception. Not to mention he uses cds & they skip. We wanted a certain line dance and it kept skipping. Our guests kept coming up to us and asking where we got him bc he was so bad. Save yourself the embarasment and look for someone else. I regret paying him to be honest bc i should have held back half the pmt.

This is a false review and I will explain why. I went over all the names of the bridal party and numbered each couple in the order to be announced. I announced all in the proper order that she wanted. She says i did no preparation that is not true as I sent her a list of things she wanted done and she returned the list to me. I only came up to her a few times during the course of the evening first to congratulate them on the marriage and then to mention that it was getting late and they should consider throwing the bouquet etc. That does not seem to be running up every second. She says the guests were unhappy, funny but I handed out 5 business cards from people w
