Couldn't have asked for anything better! Songs were played that fit the entire spectrum of people in attendance, from old to new...
Definitely easy to work with and accommodated to all of mine and my wife's "last minute" request! Would most certainly recommend and use again.

I truly enjoyed working with Will and Scott. They take pride in what they do and are do their best to meet your needs. They arrived on time, very friendly and were very interested in what we needed them to do. Scott was a trooper, and stuck with us even through the rain.
I would recommend them to any one that needs a great DJ. They also bring along with their strong knowledge of music, lots of ideas this comes in handy when you are new at hosting an event. Our special thanks to Abe One Deejays for all their help in making our Relay For Life a success. Jackie

Abe One Deejays did a fantastic job at our event. The DJ was very personable and was open to comments. We had a band playing for the first 3 hours of the event and the DJ was left to his own devices. No complaints and was very professional when it was time to perform.
Very good price as well.
Owner was very understanding about certain situations and he was always available through phone and email, replies were prompt.

We used Abe One Deejays for our company Christmas Party, and the DJ did a great job! He played a variety of music and took special requests. The volume of the music was perfect as well...loud enough to enjoy and dance to, but not too loud that it interfered with conversations. I would highly recommend using Abe One Deejays.

Will and his nephew were amazing!!! We had a wide range of ages at the wedding and the music fit everyone. They had any song you could think of!!! Will worked w/ us and did anything he could. He came from VA to Raleigh NC for our event. I would have him do future events. The video screen was a nice feature. OUTSTANDING!!!!!

The actual DJs that came to our event were very nice. However everything leading up to the event was stressful. And the owner, Will, was very hard to work with and threatened to sue me because of a miscommunication with my aunt. However she was trying to protect my best interest, and no girl wants to be deathly sick a week before her wedding! It ended up that my brother and our best man had to call him and deal with him and corner him in his responsibilites in our contract. He was also demanding cash.

Protecting our best interests traveling 8 hours each way to and from West Virginia is my job. We empathize with you being sick, but not wanting to cancel last minute on us. We strive for only the best which sets us apart from your average cookie cutter Dj service. Perhaps our standards were a little too high here. I'm glad that you were satisfied with the actual Dj's who hosted your event. Im a perfectionist and if all the bases are not covered then I consider it less than acceptable. Thanks for using Abe One Deejays. Lesson learned.

I made the agreement with Will Shumate to be our DJ and he told me the day of the event (only 2 hours prior to start time) that he was sending a substitute DJ because he was stuck at his radio station in West Va. The guy was really late (1 hr and 45 minutes late) and awfully young and inexperienced in dealing with a crowd and getting them motivated. The next day, Will Shumate wanted to meet up to get payment. I'm thinking, "You just told me you were stuck in West VA at the radio station.". I sent the payment in the mail and only paid him half of what we agreed on based on my experience with him.

Drunken client was notified months in advance about the change. Seemed that alcohol attributed to her memory loss. She was so drunk that she couldn't find her shoes or checkbook and the end of the night! LOL! Surprised she remembered anything!!!LMAO!! Venue said her BAR tab was beyond belief!! Our Deejay did his best with this drunken obnoxious party!!! LOL!!! Congratulations DJ Joey for a job well done! GOTTA LOVE BEING A DJ AT A DRUNKIN' CLASS REUNION.

Providing entertainment for both the ceremony and the reception is in high demand and we found it easy to make the afternoon into evening transition from formal to casual in which the guests never wanted us to leave. I was very dissappointed when I learned 5 days before our wedding that the Deejay I had been corresponding with for over 6 months was sending someone else to fill his shoes. He never mentioned any scheduling conflicts until I contacted him 5 days prior for final details. Even a few weeks' notice would have been appreciated. This truly could have been avoided with proper planning. I really did enjoy the Deejay that did our reception; he did a great job & made me feel comfortable despite the mix-up.
