Mike Wells is a professional DJ-Entertainer and who operates M&J DJ service. Mike is very entertaining and will definitely keep the party going. He personally interacts with his audience and knows how to read the crowd. He has been performing since 1992. Mike plays anything from country to hip-hop. Mike is also familiar with the line dances of old and new and will go out to the dance floor to help teach those dances He is a great MC for your wedding or business events.. "From the first time I spoke to Mike on the phone I knew he would deliver an exceptional wedding reception. As a group the guys all worked together to coordinate the events of the reception. Hiring MJ DJ Service (Mike), the photographer (Dean), the videographer (Nathan) made my daughter’s wedding/reception such a great event! I could not have pulled off a wedding reception without them!

"Mike Wells DJ'd our wedding ceremony and reception on 3/31/12 and we are extremely satisfied with his services! I specifically wanted a DJ that was able to bring a second set-up for our lakeside ceremony so as to prevent a long lag time between the ceremony and reception, and he was very willing and able to accomodate us, without quoting additional charges, which I appreciated! He was very professional (well, maybe could have done without the sparkly red vest that he wore, that's my ONLY criticism!) and kept the party going and was very energetic and respectful of my playlist. I would highly recommend using M&J DJ Service for your wedding or event! "

"MIKE WELLS is AMAZING! I had hands-down the most awesome dance party aka wedding reception EVER! I truly never stopped dancing or laughing the entire night ! "Mike was awesome. This was actually a party for our 15 yo son. We expected 25-30 15-16 yeAr olds and about 50 showed up.
Our son had sent in a playlist and of course, all the kids bombarded him all night with their iPods with requests! Many songs were inappropriate and he handled that well
Great sound system and great control of group.
Most important, kids had a blast!

"Michael was wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Originally we had him just booked for the reception, but at the last minute our live music for the ceremony fell through. I was in a bit of a panic. Michael was more than welcome to provide music for the ceremony too. Thank goodness. The whole process was very painless. Everyone enjoyed the music at the wedding and reception. People were on the dancefloor almost the entire night. It was a blast. He was awesome and I would hire him again in a heartbeat. "

"I thought Mike was amazing. He made my mom's 50th birthday party wonderful. He was great at trying to get people on the dance floor. He was also very accommodating in terms of the playlist. I sent him a long list of requested songs, and he made sure to have them available for us. He was open to requests. He also created a great pace for the party. He began with slower music while we ate and slowly began to play faster music. He even got out on the dance floor and danced with everyone. I would definitely recommend him for any event and I would be happy to use him again for any future events I have.

"Mike Wells was by far the best DJ..Our event was a Wedding, not only were happy with Mike our guests were asking about him he blew everyone away by how he engaged everyone. He was wireless so he was on the floor teaching and just having a great time himself. We asked for upbeat and keep the party going, Boy did he deliver, and he even came with interactive props that were a hit for even the littlest partiers. He came and set up in minutes with great equipment - Mike communicated well with the bride and groom and also the photographer - He announced each aspect of the wedding. "Over all, I would give it a solid B. When the DJ, Darrell, first arrived, he seemed unfamiliar with the program and software. He got it figured out within the first hour or so of the party. I don't fault him for that and view it as a selection and training issue that the company did not address. Darrel was a nice guy and did not interfere with the flow of the party, but did not take charge either. If he had a party of people who did not have a clear idea about how to run the party, that could present a problem. I would say that this experience does not disqualify this company for future work, but it does not make it the presumptive choice.
