I hired Thin Men Band for my husband's birthday party - I didn't know anything about them except what I read on gig masters, so I was a bit nervous about the whole thing. But they were so great, played terrific music, and the crowd LOVED them. The volume was loud enough to be fun, but not so loud that people couldn't talk to each other. The band was super easy to work with, very accommodating of requests, and just fantastic people. We enjoyed them so much and I couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you Paul and the guys!

We have booked the Thin Men four times over the last few years for our Berkeley social club. While many of our members are in their golden years the Thin Men have been able to bridge the music gap where everyone is joyous and dancing with the music. They know their music and they play to their audience. Each party we have presented them with a music theme and they have put together amazing playlists in addition to improvising sets to meet the spirit of the crowd. You gotta play with these guys!!!

Second time we've hired the Thin Men Band. Wonderful experience. They listen to what we want and need. Helpful attitude... loan of a microphone for announcements throughout the evening. Put up with repeated interruptions and distracted audience (this is a silent auction event). Got people up dancing. Can't recommend them enough!! Paul leads the band and is just the most polite and accommodating musician I've ever met.

The Thin Men Band was just what we were looking for and more. First off they were incredibly responsive, working with us consistently to make sure we had the songs we wanted. They also accommodated me by learning a special song, not on their list, for our first dance. They were talented, fun and got everyone up and dancing. I would recommend the Thin Men Band for any event. We are so happy we found them!

This is the second time we have heard Thin Man Band and the first we've hired them. long as they're available we'll hire them and recommend them. They were also a huge hit with the guests at the party and I think they will get more work. They were also gracious and accommodating when a young jazz saxophonist friend showed up and they let him jam with them, which everyone enjoyed.
They also provided a terrific play list and added things we asked for. We couldn't have had a better experience with a band.
They were very good about touching base in the long stretch between when we booked the gig and the gig itself, which was very reassuring. Five stars all around!

Our group has found the perfect band for us. They play lively music without bringing conversation to a halt. Both our older and younger members enjoy them. Although we are a group that mainly gathers to have a dinner, most of us end up by dancing. We just cannot help ourselves.

Couldn't have asked for a better band to provide atmosphere to our event. Ours was a busy auction, with lots of distractions for the audience, and lots of interruptions for the band. None of it was any trouble for them. Paul was responsive to all my communications from the outset. He was pro-active in making sure he had the right song list for us. Arrived promptly. Made sure we had a microphone for announcements early in the evening. Adjusted timing to fit with the flow of the evening. Ever so polite in his manner. Just a wonderful addition to our evening and I would strongly recommend the guys for any type of event where a band is needed!!

These guys provided us with the most amazing experience. We couldn't have asked for anything more or better. I hired them for my husband's birthday; he is extremely picky in terms of music, being a guitar player himself. The band accommodated each and every request I made (and I had plenty!), being extremely professional and kind throughout the process. They work very, very hard, they care about the smallest details and gave a wonderful performance. We hired professionals in Europe, too, and so far, we have never seen anything comparable to the Thin Men Band. We can't recommend them enough, and we look forward to another opportunity to listen to them. Thank you!

I can't say enough about this band. Everything was excellent, from the communication before the event, to the flexibility at the event, to the quality of the music. They worked out a playlist with me before the event and then when the food was served late, they simply substituted dinner music for the dancing music we had worked out. They also worked with my daughter who taught a couple of line dances.
Everyone loved the music and danced, danced, danced. They made everyone happy at a party that had people from age 3 to age 90.
They are very easy-going, nice people, too.
I would hire them again for an event without any hesitations.

I gotta do all 25 stars, cuz these guys are amazing. Their drummer did the entire Santana rhythm section on his small kit for Black Magic Woman. I watched while he did it and I still can't believe he had all those beats going at once. Last call was Whiter Shade of Pale in perfect organ and voice. They would have played another hour if we hadn't had to shut 'em down by 10 for the neighbors. Great stage personalities, and they love their job. Encore Encore Killer evening!!

The Thin Men Band is BY FAR the most professional, polite and flexible band we have ever worked with! This is the second time we have used the guys and they came in on short notice for us with no problems what so ever. They were right on time and were the hit of the party! Paul is fantastic and gets back to you extremely fast and is very easy to work with. We will be sure to use them again for our next grand opening!

The Thin men were absolutely wonderful! They even learned a special song for our father daughter dance. Many of our guests asked for their card so they could hire them for future events. The "free" mic was a nice touch that allowed for our guests to say a few words. We would highly recommend The Thin Men for your party needs.

The Thin Men Band was by far the perfect fit for our party! They worked with us and were able to accommodate every single one of our needs. Paul, is extremely professional and asks the right questions and gives you the answers you need to make the evening a success. Even though our party was during the week we were able to make the time work. The guys showed up when they said they would and their music was fantastic. If you want someone who will work with you and do their best to make your party a success and sound great all in one, then the Thin Men Band is the way to go without a doubt!

The Thin Men Band, were the life of the party. They came when they said they would, they played all the songs we had requested, even learned a few to please our guests. Our group ranged in age from 40 to 80. Everyone enjoyed the selection. The sound was perfect for our hall. They were friendly and relaxed. Many in our group were very impressed that we had found a band that we could afford and that played so well.

The Thin Men were a big hit at our party. Great repertoire that got everyone dancing. They set up early and were very professional, friendly and accommodating. So many of our guests commented on how much they liked the music and the fun they had dancing. I definitely recommend them and will hire them again for our next party.
