Lara Latin is a Salsa/Latin Jazz band that delivers an exciting show that will get everyone dancing! We play authentic Salsa music such as music from Tito Puente, Frankie Ruiz, Ray Barretto, and El Gran Combo. We also enjoy playing more contemporary music from artists such as Carlos Santana, Elvis Crespo, Poncho Sanchez, and Marc Anthony.
We are a diverse band with members coming from all parts of the Latin culture such as Puerto Rico, Colombia, and California. Most of the band members are graduates from the University of North Texas, a school well know for it's music program. The band features sizzling horn lines, a driving rhythm section, and great vocals. We are able to play a variety of styles: Romantic boleros, Latin Jazz, Merengue, Salsa, and even some Latin rock. It's all about what works for your event!
