The Alternates are Reno/Tahoe/Sacramento's newest and hottest modern rock band. Specializing in the 90's modern rock/ alternative sound, The Alternates deliver a high-energy show chalked full of 90's one-hit wonders and modern rock hits. The Alternates bring fresh material to scene dominated by the same songs for the last 20 years. The Alternates deliver an enerygy packed show that will have you wanting to know what song comes next! With over 40 plus years of combined experience, The Alternates know how to keep the party rockin. On lead guitar is phenom Andrew Fowler. Graduate of Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts, Andrew spent a few years playing the Vegas scene before moving back to hometown Tahoe. On bass is Mike Bryan, recruited by Andrew through another project. On vocals is Matt Bryant. Former singer of punk band Blunt, Matt brings showmanship and soaring vocals to propell the intensity for a high-energy rock show. On drums and vocals is band leader Jason Paul. Born and raised in Tahoe, Jason spent 2 years on tour with blues star Deborah Coleman and was an 03' graduate from Musician's Institute in Hollywood, CA. With some seasoning and chops to go along, Jason was ready to take the lead.
