Formed by veterans of successful Bay Area bands, Rough Puppy has been entertaining audiences with authentic renderings of your favorite classic rock songs since 2007. The six-piece unit combines strong vocal and instrumental ability with an absolute focus on tonal quality and superb performance. These songs are our favorites too, so no one is more descriminating.

The music of Rough Puppy spans a wide genre of classic rock and blues, from the brash energy of the early Beatles, Cream and The Who, to today's favorites. Rough Puppy's musical library is a continual work in progress, crafted with the goal of spanning as many diverse stlyes as possible while simultaneously rooting out material that our peers have "beaten into the ground."

Rough Puppy is well suited for large clubs, private functions and corporate events where audiences span a wide variety of ages and musical tastes. The band's versatility allows it to adapt quickly to different audiences and focus on the music best suited for the event.
