I am a composer and songwriter who has been performing and teaching for over 30 years. I have a bachelors degree in music composition and theory from Virginia Commenwealth University in Richmond and two years of independent studies in music composition from California Institute of The Arts in Los Angeles.
I have a great sound system and can play soft or loud depending on the type of event. I can also add some classical guitar music with my Spanish made classical guitar. Please give me advance notice for requests of specific songs.

• Mr. Tim Carney is very laid back and has kind of a beachy casual style. He took the time to speak with me and communicate via email several times prior to my function as I had many questions. He was accomodating in purchasing the sheet music to learn some of the songs that I wanted to be played at my husband's 50th birthday luncheon. • Tim was fabulous! All of the guests at the party loved him and commented that he sounded just like the artist's voice of each song he sang. Tim played for an outdoor patio party and after 2 hours into the party we had a bad rain storm. Tim was extremely flexible and worked with us to move the party inside where he continued to play and offered to stay as long as we needed him. Tim asked me if we had any special requests and he learned a requested song the night before our party. What should have been an indoor-outdoor event was forced inside by a blast of cold wet weather. • We just had Tim play for our St. Patrick's Day party and he was a five star performer across the board. He arrived nice and early to set up and was playing right as the guests started arriving. He had state of the art sound equipment set up within a short time and it sounded amazing when he started playing. I was so excited to hear such great music carrying through my entire house and backyard from right there in my own family room. The music choices were perfect, and the guestsd absolutety loved the vibe. He even prepared special Irish tunes to mix in with the other music.
