Description

The Nonstop Classic Rock Band is considered by many to be the premier Classic Rock cover band in the St. Louis area, including Southern Illinois. We are a 10-piece powerhouse with a full horn section and a total of 6 vocalists (but, we can also keep the volume down when necessary, as we have done to perform at the Third Degree Glass Factory and for dinner functions at the Argosy Casino). We are made up exclusively of veteran professionals (averaging 25 years pro experience), who pride ourselves on being able to play, literally, any Classic Rock song ever recorded -- "just like the record". That's why, unlike the vast majority of cover bands, our promo cuts (like the ones on this website) are all live recordings, untouched by any professional studio technician -- we feel you should know what a band really sounds like before you hire them. We rehearse in our own studio in West St. Louis County, and we come with our own extensive sound and lighting systems, a full-time engineer, our own road crew, and a selection of stage riser configurations. In just 3 short years of existence, we have performed for: Cardinals Opening Day; Ellisville/Bluebird Park Summer Concert Series; Concerts at SIU/Edwardsville and Carbondale; The Bob Kuban Tribute Night; regular events at Windows Off Washington, 2009 Feature Band for Cardinals games at the Ballpark Hilton, Opening Act for 2009 MLB All Star Game festivities, and on and on. KLOU Radio's former star personality, Smash -- who himself has a great, widely known rock band, has described Nonstop on the air as "Magnificent!" "Awesome!" and "What a killer band!" (You can hear this recorded interview on our website.) If it's versatility you're looking for, you'll want to know that Nonstop is the only cover band in the St. Louis area with both male and female dedicated lead singers, a full horn section, and a repertoire approaching 150 songs that includes the Classic Rock, Motown, R&B, Southern Rock, Funk, Jazz, Disco, Blues and Country Rock genres. If overall professionalism is critical to you, we'd like to point out that Nonstop has been selected for area events by organizers as far East as Virginia and as far West as L.A., and is represented by St. Louis' premier booking agency, La*De*Da Entertainment. As a recent client has said, "When you book a 10-piece band you worry. There are a lot of variables that can go wrong -- not with Nonstop.... It was a perfect day.... and their epic set list is absurdly versatile.... Rest assured: Nonstop goes above and beyond" -- Chris Parkhurst, Los Angeles. Our promise: With us as your band your success will be Nonstop.
