DESCRIPTION:
Howdy! My name is Justice Daniels and I started Blue Lightnin' in response to so many country fans telling me they were ready for a shift from the older style country music that predominated the country scene to a newer, more energetic contemporary Top 40s country sound. They were hearing that sound on their radios and now they wanted to "rock country" with a live band and enjoy those new line dances like the "Yee Haw" and the "Hicktown!"I began forming Blue Lightnin' in 2006 and launched the band in early 2007 so even though the band is "young", it's still well established by many "band standards" since we're all seasoned veterans and have been performing in front of audiences most of our lives. Now we were the first country band in my neck of the woods (Southern California) to immediately introduce nearly 70% more new country cover music into four performance sets. While most bands start with the old music and gradually add a new song here or there - my approach was more dramatic - first, I gently set all that old country music aside, then I started fresh with as many of the hottest contemporary country songs I could find from today's country stars like Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Brooks and Dunn, Toby Keith and so many others. Only after carefully building music sets with that hot new music did I weave in some of those old country favorties from classic traditional artists like Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard! CLIENT FEEDBACK:
We had a Veteran's fundraiser with a luau theme. Justice Daniels and Blue Lightnin' were FANTASTIC. Even before the event Justice was an amazing asset in helping promote it. There was great communication prior, during, and following the event. Then there was their music, and I could not have gotten a better band. These guys rock. Our crowd of more than 300 absolutely loved them. The band sounded great, Justice has a great voice. Their playlist was awesome and the dance floor was always full with everyone having a ball. I just can't say more, and they were FUN! I WILL DEFINITELY work with them again and I would recommend them highly. THANK YOU!!
