Also Known As (AKA) is a six-piece cover band with male and female lead vocals, plenty of harmonies and a great show. We play a wide variety of classic and current rock, plus some modern country. Our song list features about 40 new and recent songs and 40 more from the 60s and 70s. Obviously, if you need a fix of Whitesnake or Duran Duran, we're not your band. There are plenty of good 80s bands out there and some of them are big fun. We're not one of those bands, but we're bigger fun - different than your 80s band and way different than the "classic rock" outfits that don't keep in touch with what today's club and party crowds want to hear. Every band ought to have a personality. With AKA, that personality comes through with well-played, proven crowd-pleasers; but no metal, Hip-Hop or Spandex.
