DESCRIPTION:
Aftershock is the Triangle area's premiere 80's Rock Cover Band! We center on 80's "hairspray" rock (think Poison, Bon Jovi, Guns & Roses) and also include related favorites by bands such as KISS, Cheap Trick, Joan Jett, Journey and Bryan Adams. While not a tribute band with hair, makeup and spandex (you don't want to see us in spandex!) we bring a fun, exciting, singable and dancable show to our clientele. We are available for weekend gigs, parties, and events.The band: Rob Rocker
Lead Vocals, Guitar
Rob has always loved music, but it was the discovery of Guns & Roses and Poison in Junior High that got him addicted to Rock n' Roll. Rob has been involved in various projects over the last decade including releasing a C.D. on an independent label in 2001. His influences include Guns & Roses, Poison, Mötley Crüe, Rolling Stones, Faces, NewYork Dolls and Slade. Dave Hardman
Lead Guitar
Dave has his roots firmly planted in the 80s when he "bought his first real six string." Since those early days, Dave's soaring leads have been heard in various bands and recordings. Dave's guitar influences include Neal Schon (Journey), Brad Gillis (Night Ranger), and Eddie Van Halen. When not playing music Dave can often be found scouring eBay for his next guitar. Lance Bledsoe

After auditioning several bass players in the triangle area, Aftershock invited Lance to come play with us. We were a little concerned since we knew his early musical influences included ABBA and the Partridge Family, but we don't hold that against him. Turns out he's matured a lot since then and he can definitely keep up with the rock Aftershock plays! Jeremy "JD" Davis

JD has played various styles of music since 1985, and was in the Seattle area when the grunge scene became big. Despite the threat to hair metal that bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam introduced, he continues to love hair metal. JD's influences include Tico Torres, Rod Morgenstein and Tommy Lee.
