Flair is a 2 woman, 3 man band of seasoned players, including 4 vocalists. Lots of singers means we do a wide variety of songs and styles, and put on fun, energetic performances that engage the audience. Led by both female and male vocalists, we play danceable classic rock, pop & country including tunes by everyone from Pink to Petty to Duffy to Cash to the Stones to….! BIO The Flair Band was started by the songwriting team of Roger Fluet and Lee Villaire, “Flair” being a mash-up of their names “FLuet” and “villAIR”. Both Roger, vocals and lead guitar, and Lee, vocals and acoustic guitar, have played in numerous bands and are known as powerhouse vocalists who love performing and engaging with the audience. Joined three years ago by bassist Marc Feldman, they played extensively in north central Massachusetts. Now expanded to include Elizabeth Lorrey on keyboards, guitar and vocals, and Jo Thackeray on drums and percussion, this dynamic group of friends launched the latest version of the Flair Band at two sold-out shows at the Bull Run in Shirley, MA. Fueled by a love of performing, four members are songwriters and have released 10 CDs between them, and have created an exciting live show that features a huge variety of cover songs …. toes will be tapping, bodies be dancing and you'll leave the show smiling!
