Why do you need to JumpStart Your Party? Well, if all you want to do is dance, then you can hire a DJ. If all you want to do is get up on stage, you can rent a karaoke machine or play "Guitar Hero". If all you want to do is see a great stage performance, it might be best to simply play a Live-In-Concert DVD, But if you want to do ALL of those things, then you need to JumpStart Your Party.

JumpStart is available to travel throughout Northern California & Northern Nevada and will travel further for special events. All aspects of weddings can be covered from ceremony and cocktail music, to emcee announcements and reception dancing. We also provide DJ music free of charge. These guys totally rock! Other vendors in the Tahoe area generally are flaky, incompetent, and overpriced. But not JumpStart - these guys are pros and it shows. The music was fun, high-energy, and kept our wedding crowd on the dance floor all night. If we could give 6 stars, we would. Hire them for your wedding and you won't be disappointed!

JumpStart added so much to our wedding ceremony and reception. They are an amazing collaboration of extremely talented, great spirited, non-attitude band members. They knew exactly what to play to fit the festive mood of our event! Literally, every song they played had people running to pack the dance floor. My sister and girlfriend discovered them playing at Camp Richardson during the Summer and called me right away and told me they "found the perfect band for my wedding". I immediately visited their website and listened to their awesome music. I booked them as quickly as I could. I am 100% satisfied with their performance. They are worth every penny and then some. They even played for the ceremony which was an added bonus. Everyone was so touched by their rich and soulful voices. Stan did an excellent job at MC- ing the event as well. He is a charismatic speaker and knows how to organize and time things well. This was a great asset to the evening. Added bonuses included a lot of audience participation such as having the bridesmaids jump on stage and play tambourines and sing, a solo song they let me sing with them, and letting my dad play harmonica and sing a blues tune! What fun. I highly recommend this band if you want a truly magical experience that great music can deliver. I recently attended two other receptions. One had a DJ. It was good but did not have the excitement or personal touch that LIVE entertainment delivers, especially GREAT live entertainment like JumpStart!! The other reception didn't have music at all. It was very mellow. All there was to do was talk for hours and eat. The right music and dancing adds so much more! If you get a chance, visit their website and check them out! Or better yet, see when/where they are playing and experience them yourself. They are truly awesome!! I will book them with out a doubt again any chance I get!

• FANTASTIC! The most accommodating, cheerful, fun, enthusiastic, professional, entertaining band we have ever hired. They did not put on a concert for us, but rather engaged the entire group of 300+ in an evening of sheer enjoyment, laughter, entertainment, and fantastic, danceable music. They played to a very diverse demographic group and successfully entertained everyone. I heard nothing but rave reviews for a week after our event. • It would be hard to top this band. They were top-notch and well worth the cost. They worked hard and sounded fantastic. The announcing portion of the event was handled by Stan Freeman and was well orchestrated. The first dance was Elton John's "Your Song" which was beautifully done. Mom wanted Guns'n Roses's "Sweet Child of Mine" which turned out to be a perfect lead in song to get everyone on the dance floor before it was over and all geared up for a rocking good time.
