Description
Mark Hackley lives in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and has been writing songs since age 15, and learned guitar at 9. Mark plays acoustic guitar and sings about work, marriage, love, about living in America, about good times and tough times. His music is great as background for parties or for a sit-down concert. He usually sings by himself, but can be joined by folk-singers, Brenda Remis of Ft. Defiance, VA, and/or Howard Barnett of Earlysville, VA, by request.
In 2004, Mark produced his first country album called 'Family Man In Crisis', and in late 2005 he released his music overseas via Comstock Records. He released his mosr recent album, 'Hurricane' in 2008.
Mark has his own sound system that is perfect for small to medium-size venues. His specialties are performances in small country bars, backyard parties, corporate gatherings, downtown outdoor events, performing art centers, and small- medium charity fundraising events.
