DESCRIPTION:
Dave and his band have only been around Northern California for a short time but this Hot, New Country Band has been tearing up stages across California and Nevada. Dave Russell and his band have already won several acclaims and awards throughout the state of California. Dave alone was Sacramento radio station KNCI's Nashville Star Winner along with the entire band winning BEST NEW COUNTRY ACT in the True Value Country Showdown California Championships. Their original songs have been touted as "Pure Country" and reviewers have given comments like "you'll definitely be hearing more from these guys". Along with their originals, the band has a repertoire of traditional and new country songs that they perform. They also will play oldie's, beach music, funk, Classic Rock, and just about anything else they can think of to keep everyone out on the floor having a great time. The band is mainly comprised of musicians from the Bay Area. Except for the newcomer, Dave Russell, a native of North Carolina who brings that true voice and experience of country living to complete the "All out country fun that is to be had at one of their shows". Dave is an accomplished "Vocal Impressionist" that has worked with the likes of, Doug Stone, and The Cast of Hee-Haw. Dave also had his own "One Man Show" at the New Palace Casino in Biloxi, MS. From impersonations of Johnny Cash, Aaron Tippin, Randy Travis and others, to great songs from just about everybody else, Dave and his band are truly "ENTERTAINING".

I want you to know how pleased we were with the Dave Russell Band.
They arrived in plenty of time to be set up
Checked with us about what we wanted to hear
Checked with us during breaks to make sure sound level etc was okay
Played a great selection of music that was something for everybody
And packed up and went home.
I would definitely hire them again - I tried for another date that night but they were already booked. Several people in the audience talked to them about playing at their events in the future also. This is a band I would highly recommend.
