California Country at its Finest Just Dave Band is a traveling country band from Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. Led by singer/songwriter Dave "Just Dave" Bernal, the band's high-energy performance gives a "rocky" edge to country music, capturing the best of California Country's sounds, blending the familiar sounds of Bakersfield, Laurel Canyon, Austin, TX and Nashville, TN. The band features the best in country music instrumentation, including pedal steel, fiddle, piano/keys, and sweet, soulful vocal harmonies, too. Just Dave Band is first and foremost a party band. Grinding it out in the honky-tonks and dance halls of CA, AZ, CO and NV, it uniquely plays original and cover song favorites in places that otherwise don't feature original acts, a testament to the strength of Dave's original writing ability. The combination of Dave's "bigger-than-his-body" voice, with a rock edged band, bring a new twist to the world of the classic country troubadour sound.
