Bakersfield Bound Country Band from Indianapolis, IN

The "Bakersfield Sound"...that's what "Bakersfield Bound" is all about! Genuine country music by Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Dwight Yoakam,, etc., as well as some lively country rock by The Desert Rose Band, Gram Parsons, Neil Young, The Flying Burrito Brothers, The Byrds, etc. thrown in for good measure. That's a style of country music almost impossible to find in Indiana! "Bakersfield Bound" delivers sharp instrumentation with tight vocal harmonies that will get your guests up and out on the dance floor doin' the Texas Two Step, line dancin', country waltzing, etc. "Bakersfield Bound" is a five musician band with pedal steel guitar, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, electric bass, and drums. Four band members are all fine vocalists. "Bakersfield Bound" is composed of elite veteran musicians, some of who were members of nationally famous bands which toured across the country. Lead vocalist and band leader Wayne "Wildcard" Miller is the former leader of the critically acclaimed California country rock band "Country Roots", which performed in Las Vegas, as well as opened in major venues for famous country acts like Hal Ketchum and The Texas Tornados.
