If you're looking for real Country Music we're it! Vintage Country sings classic country music from the all-time greatest country music stars and duets including, George Jones, Tammy Wynette, (and George/Tammy!), Dolly Parton, Porter Wagoner (and Dolly/Porter!), Buck Owens, Patsy Cline, Everly Brothers, Kitty Wells, Louvin Brothers, Don Gibson, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams, and Ray Price. Our repertoire is songs recorded from the 40's through the 70's. There's no rock influence in our music, no modern country hits, no top-40 or other pop filler music. Just real country music for folks who wish they could hear it again!
Vintage Country is a duet with me, Mark Arrington, and my wife Leticia. We've been singing these songs for over 30 years. I played and recorded all the instruments of the background band: acoustic and electric guitars, bass, drums, fiddles, piano, and additional backup vocals. We play and sing with it, recreating the classic Nashville sound that's rarely heard today. We also do songs without the band background - just guitar and mandolin, recreating the original country sounds of the 40's.
