Jeffrey Charles is a high-energy, high-octane fusion of bluegrass, rockabilly, traditional country and rock music all rolled into one big ball of boot-stompin', hip-shakin' fun!
He has charmed country music lovers all throughout the Texas Hill Country and beyond. He has shared the stage with country music legends such as Johnny Rodriguez, Junior Brown, and David Allan Coe, as well as some of today's hottest country picks including Casey Donahew, The Cody Johnson Band, and The Locash Cowboys. Viewed as one of Texas' hottest country sensations and rising stars, Jeffrey recently released his first hit single to radio, "Where Did I Go Wrong," which landed him a spot in the Top 100 and caught the attention of Texas country music legend Johnny Bush. It has been played on radio stations all throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and six European countries. The single, along with his boot-stompin', high-octane live performances, have thrilled audiences and garnered high profile appearances on the KENS 5 morning show "Great Day SA," the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, as well as the Rodeo BBQ Cookoff at Sea World.
Jeffrey, a Gulf War veteran and San Antonio native, has a tight-knit, five-piece band that performs an eclectic blend of original music that combines elements of bluegrass, traditional country, rockabilly, and rock, which has been described as Johnny Cash meets the Texas Hill Country - with Dwight Yoakam at the bar. It's retro-country with a rocking edge. And with the Multi-Grammy-winning Morales brothers (Michael and Ron) producing his first CD, "Lasso" released in August 2010, he now has an EP full of radio friendly self-penned songs to share with audiences far and wide.
