Renard Hirsch Comedian from Nashville, TN

Renard Hirsch is one of the most versatile performers in the entertainment industry. He obtained a degree in Speech Communication and Theater from Tennessee State University. Renard started his entertainment career doing plays. He has been seen in such plays as; A Raisin in the Sun (George/Moving Man), Seven Guitars (Red Carter), Blues for an Alabama Sky (Dr. Sam Thomas), The Piano Lesson (Doaker), and Waiting to End Hell (Alvin). While in college Renard began writing his one man show based on the life of civil rights leader Adam Clayton Powell Jr. which he still performs today for churches and banquets. As a poet Renard has been featured on numerous recordings and at spoken word events and has recently released a comedy/poetry album called "Cometry". His film credits include The Green Mile, Drumline, Lincoln Heights, Hancock, the Lifetime movie, Love at the Christmas Table, and most recently the TV show Nashville. As a stand up comedian, Renard has performed at the World Famous Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store, Zanies, The J Spot, and The Comedy Zone. As a comic he has appeared on BET's "A Time to Laugh" and Comcast's "Who's Laughing Now," Nephew Tommy's "Uncontrolled Comedy," and Juce TV's, "Music City Comedy". Renard has shared the stage with comedians such as: Rodman, Jon Reep, JB Smoove, Jay Pharoah , Bruce Bruce, Sommore, and Kevin Hart. Renard is the CEO of the Red Carter Booking agency that supplies comedic talent to events across the country. He has also performed as the opening act for Gospel Singer Niyoki. Renard's style is very versatile, he can reach any audience, weather he is telling jokes in the smallest hole in the wall club or in church, he can reach you wherever you are.
