Peter Liu Comedian from Boston, MA

Peter is a rising Boston comic. He majored in chemical engineering and minored in sadness. Now, he makes drugs by day and laughs at night. His comedy is sharp and insightful. He has been featured on Don't Tell Comedy, Chocolate Sundaes, the World Comedy Expo, Burbank Best of Fest, the Boston, Boulder and New York Comedy Festival. Peter performs across New England at venues such as The Comedy Studio, the Comedy Connection, Laugh Boston, Patriot’s Place, Chunky's, Headliner's, Leavitt Theatre, Scamp's Comedy, McCue's Comedy Club and Mohegan Sun (Last ComiX Standing). He was a semi-finalist at the Boston Comedy Festival, Massachusetts’ Funniest Contest, finalist at New England's Funniest Person Contest. He has also performed across the country at the Comedy Store, Flapper's Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, Greenwich Comedy Club, the Comedy Chateau, West Side Comedy Theatre, The Second City, and the Laugh Factory. Peter is available for private events, he’s been hired for weddings, fundraisers, corporate events, birthdays, masquerades parties, colleges (Harvard, Brown, Landmark, Bryant, UMass Lowell, Lasell), graduations, retirement homes, casinos and Chinese restaurants. If it’s weird, he's probably done it and he hasn't, he'd be happy to give it a try! Peter is the producer of popular comedy shows all around Boston at venues such as the Jungle, the Island and the prestigious Fillipelo park of Watertown. During the pandemic he created and hosted “Comics who Showered,” a popular online show in partnership with the Comedy studio that features local comedians and headliners from around the US (and exactly one Canadian). Peter grew up in China, Australia, New Zealand, and the exotic land of New Jersey. Shaped by his international childhood, he brings a unique, multicultural perspective to his storytelling. With Interests ranging from Jiu-jitsu and Powerlifting to Physics and Magic the Gathering, Peter is equal parts bro and nerd. He hopes to improve Asian representation in the media by relentlessly performing comedy and competing fiercely for film roles with Scarlett Johansson.
